French ufologist and author Jean Sider learned in an article from the newspaper L'Indépendant de Château Gontiers for October 23, 1954, on page 6, that on October 11, 1954 at 6 o'clock in the morning in Juzeau in the department of the Vienne, Mr. Chauvin, a farmer of Juzeau, 2km in the east of Méral, saw a luminous ball which went down towards the ground, but which was quickly hidden by the trees and a ground elevation, which prevented him to follow it.
