[Ref. 711] JEAN SIDER:
French ufologist and author Jean Sider learned in an article from the newspaper La Charente Libre, of Angouleme, for October 18, 1954, on page 3, that on October 15, 1954 at 10:00 p.m. in Confolens in the department of the Charente, Mr. Reyrat, carpenter and former assistant to the mayor, "whose sincerity cannot be questioned," was outside to close its workshop near the cemetery.
He then saw an object of 3 m 50 of diameter of an intense luminosity, posed on the ground. He overcame his fright and wanted to approach the machine, inside of which came a rattling mettalic noise, but on his approach, the flying saucer disappeared very quickly, rising vertically.
