[Ref. 312] GERARD BARTHEL AND JACQUES BRUCKER:
The two authors provide the article of the newspaper "La Nouvelle République" for October 12, 1954 which describes as follows the observation of October 7, 1954, in Anglade in the department of Gironde:
"Mr Roger Bellet also saw a luminous machine which had this time the shape of douelle of barrel and which moved towards the west. It left behind itself a colored trail."
Further in their book, they list the cas as follows:
"Anglade - 33 - 06:30 p.m. Luminous phenomenon of little importance."
A "douelle" is the elementary piece of wood which one assembles to make the sides of the barrel. Is is long, slightly curved.
