Les deux auteurs reproduisent un article du journal "Courrier de Loudéac" du 13 novembre 1954: The two authors reproduce an article of the newspaper "Courier de Loudéac" for November 13, 1954:
"Mr Prosper Roscouet, farmer in Bara, in Allineuc, stated to have seen in the sky, in the direction of the west (Saint-Gilles-Vieux-Marché), whereas he was returning from Kerfagot, a luminous machine which moved without noise in his direction.
"It had the form of a rectangular haversack, surmounted by a kind of bottle inclined of 45 degrees. The machine reached the valley of the West quickly, between the villages of Kerdoni and Poulnec, in Merléac. At this time, it took the shape of a barrel, with roughly the same size. It was of fire red color, of a very intense luminosity, so much so that Mr Roscouet could not stand the sight of it, he stated. The machine was at the level of the trees and disappeared from his view when it reached the bottom of the valley, on the road of Allineuc. At this time, it was hidden by the rock of Bara."
"Mr. Roscouet, aged 64, who made all the war of 1914-1918 and who is still a solid and decided man, acknowledged that he had a terrible fear when the machine was at a few hundreds of meters of him."
The two authors make some fun about haversacks and bottles, as evidence of a relenless imagination.
