NOVEMBER 28, 1954, PALMARITO, MERIDA, VENEZUELA, A GROUP OF PEASANTS:
BRIEF SUMMARY OF EVENT AND FOLLOW-UP:
The APRO ufology group in the US received a report indicating that near Palmarito,
Venezuela, south of Maracaibo Lake in the Merida State, on November 28, 1954, a
group of peasants claimed that a strange globular craft had landed and three
small men came out of it.

[Ref. lo1:] CORAL AND JIM LORENZEN:
The authors indicate that in Palmarito, Venezuela, on November 28, 1954, one of
the first cases of UFO landing in that country was reported by a group of peasants
who claimed that a strange globular craft had landed and three small men came out of it.
When the object was flying, it left a slight trail.
The Lorenzens note that the occupants were not described more than that
and that the place is south of Maracaibo Lake in the Merida State.
The Lorenzens indicate no source.

Albert Rosales indicates that near Palmarito, Venezuela, around November 28, 1954,
at night, a group of peasants saw a strange globular craft land and discharge three
very small men. When the craft was flying in left a slight trail. Rosales
specifies that there is no other information and indicates Jim and Coral Lorenzen
as the sources.
POINTS TO CONSIDER:
The report is cruelly laconic and an evaluation beyond
a simple "insufficient data" label would be daring.
It may nevertheless be worthy of notice that the next day
in the same country, a much better
documented sighting of a globular craft with three occupants occurred.
