From Press and one ufological fragmentary sources, it appears that in the surroundings of Paso de la Patria, in Argentina, on December 15, 1981, Ruben Meneses, aged 40, truck driver of the Provincial Management of Vialidad, who was driveing a truckload of trash from Vialidad to San Luis Del Palmar saw "a mass of an intense blue."
He and the truck were surrounded by a powerful white color. While arriving at the intersection of the road N.12, the truck took the direction of Posadas, the contrary direction of the road which he wanted to follow. From there, he found himself in a half-conscious state, and all of a sudden, without being able to specify the intermediate stages, he found himself the head upside down in cockpit, brilliant and luminous as if it were steel.
In a contiguous dark corridor, he noticed the presence of a being of small size, thin, with long arms, with a wrinkled skin at least on the forehead. One report indicates that these memories relate to three beings, and were "recovered under hypnosis."
Although he did not talk with the being or beings, he said that he had the unexplainable feeling that there was a communication between them.
It was found himself driving the truck on a dirt track around Béron de Testrada, at 110 kilometers from the place where his weird experience had started, and he noticed that it was then 05:00.
He did not sense his physical body, the sensation coming back only after he had stopped the truck, put his shoes off and walked outside.
He then ran to the police station of the village, and once arrived, he was seized of a severe nervous breakdown and a tears crisis and was transported in this state to Coa Cati.
The medical opinion was that he suffered of a strong nervous breakdown and a tears crisis, an emotive over-sensitiveness and photophobia, which required his hospitalization in insulation.
He also had a circular conjunctivitis located in the center of the eye-ball, which dissipated gradually; it has been suggested that it undoubtedly was due to the powerful white light which had dazzled him.
Doctor Alberto M. Vidal, his family practitioner and director of the hospital where he was accommodated, is said to have stated that Meneses obviously did not lie, that something real and very weird had happened to him, and that he knew him well since he is his doctor and his family's. He specified that he is a serious person and that it is out of the question that he could have invented the story, and that he remained very shocked by the experience.
After six days of hospitalization, he returned home, still suffering from periodic aftershocks during which he revived the experience he had been going through.

From there, I plunged in a state of semiconsciousness and all of a sudden, without being able to specify the intermediate stages, I found myself the head down in a brilliant and luminous cockpit, as if it were steel."

Michel Nique indicates that according to this description, the skin to be it was "of elephant-type texture."
Meneses found himself back driving the truck on a dirt track around Béron de Testrada, at 110 km from the place where his unexplainable adventure had started. He noticed that it was 05:00.

The same day around 03:00 a.m. close to the locality of Manuel Derqui, department of Empedrado, at 45 km of the town of Corrientes, one found a zone where the grass was burned and the ground burned and of stony consistency. On this zone, there were four not very deep holes which would come from the support of a rather ovoid apparatus of 15 meters length.
Fransisco Alberto Villagran, correspondent of the ONIFE (National Organization of Investigation of the Space Phenomena), is quoted as saying to the press in connection with these calcined ground traces that are in his possession:
"These vitrified pieces were extracted from the holes left by the landing gears of what is supposed to be the base of a spaceship. Their consistency has a great similarity with those which Reverend Segundo Reyna, director of the observatory of San Miguel, had sent to me, and which came from a similar event that had occurred in Guernica, in the province of Buenos Aires, in 1968. The chemical examination had then determined that it was about a plastic, polymerized at temperatures higher than 1500°[C]."

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in San Luis Del Palmar, Argentina, on December 15, 1981, at 03:30 p.m., 42 years old Ruben Meneses was driving a dump truck on a dirt road.
Suddenly he observes a bright object that approaches the truck, the truck begins to vibrate, and he is filled with a tingling sensation all over the body. He was not able to move as the truck rises up in the air and apparently becomes transparent. Meneses apparently then passes out.
Later he wakes up at a location about 55 miles from where he was, originally. He does not remember how he got there. Later under hypnotic regression he remembered being taken inside a room with mirror like walls, he was made to lie down on a cot-like bed. He saw three short thin humanoids with dark gray skin, extremely long arms and thick wrinkles on his forehead. The little beings communicated with Meneses by using telepathy. His next recall was of sitting confused in his truck.
Rosales indicates that the source is Eduardo Alfredo Lopez.
It is regrettable that I could find only probably very fragmentary accounts of such an interesting case.
