A Spanish ufologist of the "skeptical side" found this gem of nonsense.
It is cited in the book "Discarded Science - Ideas that seemed good at the time", by John Grant, Facts, Figures & Fun, page 219, 2006:
"A Chicago dietician whose name is lost to us believed UFOs were merely hallucinations resulting from dietary deficiencies. He claimed that if everybody ate 50 dandelions a day the UFOs would disappear."
