Patrolman asks day off after glimpse of UFOGreenwood (UPI): Greenwood patrolman Jeffrey Samples sighted an unidentified flying object at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday while patroling in Greenwood along U.S. 31. He reported seeing a "bright red light southeast of the highway," and attempted to get a better view with binoculars. Samples, however, said it disappeared before he could use them.
