SEVERAL PEOPLE, among whom Mr. Perrin, senior researcher
at the C.N.R.S. [French Science Center], who was in Gien to
give a conference there, observed the evolution in the sky,
above this city, of a luminous object resembling a ball of
fire of great dimension. However, the radar sets of the bases
of Bricy (the Loiret) and Avord (the Cher) did not detect anything.
